2.2/5spd when I adopted the truck from a tow yard. Talked with my father about using the crew cab bed on a swb chassis. Dropped the truck 5/5 the first week I had it, blew up the 2.2 after a year. Then ls (5.3) the truck. Slapped a holley high ram intake on it, made an adapter plate. And used a gtp m90 supercharger. Saved up some money, tore up the 5.3, down graded to a 4.8 and upgraded to a M122 supercharger of a 2010 gt500. Yes it’s a daily. I have a/c and heat.
