My build started a few years ago after a fellow member jack krauss took me for a ride in his blazer. That week I bought the body for $500. I scrounged up parts from friends and swap meets to get it built on a budget. The first motor I put in was a 350sbc. A year later I decided it wasn’t fast enough so I had the 406sbc built and I couldn’t be happier. Ever since then the budget went out the window and it’s been a money pit since. But hey that’s the addiction! I’m hoping to get it finished up soon and have it painted.
